Tulips
Despite the recent gloomy weather, we are ready for spring! The sun is starting to come out more often. The trees are starting to bloom, and gardens are looking green again. One of our favorite spring flowers is the tulip. There is nothing more exciting than watching a bulb you planted in the fall slowly, creep up to display a big, beautiful flower. If you love tulips as much as we do, then we're sure you've visited the Dallas Arboretum for Dallas Blooms -- currently occurring now through April 12, 2015. According to their website, they feature over 500,000 bulbs in full bloom, including hyacinths, violas, tulips and daffodils. This three-decade tradition is also the largest floral festival in the entire Southwest. The Dallas Arboretum also is a great place to take engagement photos, bridal portraits, or even get married on site.
